April 26 — The Vatican said an estimated 250,000 mourners, including President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and Prince William, attended Pope Francis’ Funeral Mass at St. Peter’s Square this morning. Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re said the pontiff “touched minds and hearts” and wanted to “build bridges, not walls.” Breaking tradition, Francis will be buried at the Basilica of St. Mary Major rather than beneath St. Peter’s.

MARKET UPDATE
📈 The S&P 500 rose for the fourth consecutive day, gaining nearly 5% for the week as investors navigated mixed signals on tariff plans. The Nasdaq rose 6.7% and the Dow rose slightly.
Locally, Delta Air Lines closed the week with a 3.54% gain, Home Depot gained 0.93%, Coca Cola dropped 1.87%, and Carter’s fell 5.81%.
