Healthcare education provider Concorde Career Colleges announced that it has selected Atlanta’s West End as the location for its inaugural Georgia campus.
Slated to open in 2027, Concorde’s new campus will be located in the 929 Building, a refurbished former warehouse space that is situated in Lee +White (mixed-use property).
The college says that construction plans for the building will see it turned into a “state-of-the-art, modern learning environment.”
Specializing in dental, nursing, diagnostic, patient care and allied health training, Concorde’s Atlanta campus will offer a range of programs that will serve up to 700 students at a time, according to a release.
The college will be located within close proximity of Lee + White’s restaurants and retailers, along with easy access to the Atlanta Westside BeltLine.
“Atlanta’s vibrant economy, world-class healthcare and on-going demand for skilled healthcare and dental professionals make it an ideal location for a Concorde campus. We look forward to forging new partnerships with area hospital systems, clinics, dental practices and community health organizations,” said Kevin Prehn, president of Concorde Career Colleges. “We’re excited to house our campus in the Lee + White development, which offers fantastic amenities for our future faculty, staff and students.”
Participating in the lease signing was real estate firms Cushman & Wakefield (representing Concorde Career Colleges in the deal) and Partners Real Estate (signing on behalf of MDH Partners and Ackerman & Co., the co-owners of Lee + White).
