First day of qualifying sees 33 candidates file for Atlanta municipal election

The City of Atlanta Office of the Municipal Clerk announced 33 candidates officially qualified for the 2025 City of Atlanta Municipal Elections following the closing of the first day of filing on Aug. 19.

The following list includes several community leaders and 12 incumbents running for reelection, who are designated with an asterisk (*).
