UPDATE: Student dies in motorcycle collision with SUV in Buckhead

The driver of a motorcycle involved in a collision with an SUV on Sept. 13 at the intersection of Roswell Road NE and Laurel Forest Circle NE was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Atlanta Police Department (APD) responded and observed a motorcycle and SUV that were involved in the collision, according to a news release.

The driver of the SUV sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to the APD’s news release.

The APD Accident Investigations Unit responded to the scene for additional investigation. The release said that the preliminary information could change as the investigation progresses or new information is discovered.

WSB reported that the motorcycle driver’s name was Benjamin Reiser, a former student at The Galloway School, while Rough Draft was able to confirm the deceased was a current student at Mount Vernon School in Sandy Springs.
